60 minute tour

In this tour, students from grades 9 to 12 will experience the art of Tim Gardner through the exhibition, Tim Gardner: The Full Story.  A skilled artist in watercolour, pastel, and oil paint, Gardner explores themes of masculinity, family, and friendship through his realistic representations of moments captured within captivating environments.  Students visiting the exhibition will have the opportunity to learn and be inspired by Gardner’s experience developing his art practice while attending high school and university in Winnipeg.  Throughout the tour, students will be encouraged to think critically about their own relationships to land through Gardner’s oeuvre.
