Born and raised in Manitoba, Anishinaabe Saulteaux artist Robert Houle is a contemporary artist, curator, writer, critic, and educator.  Prolific in his artmaking, Houle has played a leading role in positioning an Indigenous perspective as essential to the contemporary culture of our time, in Canada and internationally. You will have an opportunity to engage with the artwork in Red is Beautiful and learn the significance of their meaning.
