Available October 2024 through June 2025.

60 minute tour & 60 minute workshop

The exhibition MOTHERGROUND (featuring Madeleine and Auguste Coar) presents the work of Franco-Manitoban artist, Dominique Rey as a solo survey of her visual explorations. Using small and large-scale photographs, photo collage, human-scale sculpture, and video installation, the tour will offer an immersive experience and opportunity for student discussion of our universal connection with motherhood. MOTHERGROUND represents one of the first exhibitions of its kind in a Canadian context to thoroughly mediate on the subject of this foundational relationship in this unique multi-media manner.

Inspired by the three-dimensional sculptures in Dominique Rey’s exhibition MOTHERGROUND, students will use create a sculptural photo collage.
