60 minute tour

We are excited to present Winyan [wee-yahn], a solo survey exhibition showcasing the powerful work of Dakota/Anishinaabe/Metis artist Lita Fontaine. This collection, featuring both seminal and recent pieces, not only highlights Fontaine’s significant contributions to the art world but also provides an opportunity to explore and understand Indigenous perspectives and histories.

This exhibition is a unique educational experience that offers a deeper connection to Treaty 1 heritage and contemporary Indigenous art. It’s an invaluable chance to engage with authentic artistic expressions and learn about the rich cultural narratives of the Dakota, Anishinaabe, and Metis peoples.
