60 minute tour

Canadian Identity and the Group of 7

In this tour visitors to the gallery will gain an understanding of how this group of artists helped in the creation of what it is to be “Canadian” and how a love of design and the natural world helped shape Canadian identity. This tour will also look at what National Identity means from different perspectives. The tour will critically think about which people were responsible for designing how we see ourselves as Canadian and ask questions about sovereignty.
