Abraham Anghik Ruben Tour
Contemporary Inuk artist, Abraham Anghik Ruben, was born in 1951 and spent his early years on the lands north of Paulatuk and east of the Mackenzie Delta, in the Canadian Western Arctic. This retrospective exhibition features approximately ninety sculptures of varied sizes as well as large-scale paintings. Visitors will view Ruben’s monumental works and be inspired by details of his life, find insights into his interest in Inuit and Viking history, and learn the rich stories that connect to the art.
